Letter to my Daughters: July 2012

This letter is part of a photography project I’m undertaking on my photo blog with an amazing set of ladies from around the world – each month we write a letter to our daughters sharing our hopes and fears and dreams and stories – I wanted to share this one over here on our family travel blog too because this one explains to the girls a lot about our travels, the whys and the whats of our travels – I know there’s so much more I want to tell them but I’ll save that for future letters…..

All pictures were taken early one morning at Angkor Wat, Cambodia, Summer 2011 – we headed out for sunrise and rather than doing battle with the 5,000 others all aiming to take that perfect sunrise shot we heading on into the empty temple and found it deserted – perfect for little explorers to roam around 🙂 I must, MUST edit more Cambodia pictures, and write about our fun there – I think it was very possibly the girls favourite ever country – they seriously fell in love with it and now keep asking when we’re going back.

The post originally published here – go take a look if you want to see some of my other Letters to my Daughters, and to see what my other fabulously talented friends have been writing to their girls too….
